This one began when my child, in a burst of playful curiosity, asked if she can pour tangerine juice into a cooling cup of Ayurvedist’s Vata Tea blend.

The tea shifted before our eyes, changing from deep indigo into a cascade of violet and orange. It looked like a tiny sunrise in a mug. She insisted I take a sip, and I initially hesitated at the thought of mixing fruit juice with tea, but… well, three year olds can be very persuasive.

When I finally tasted it, the flavor was surprisingly bright and citrusy, with a nostalgic sweetness that reminded me of a white cherry icee or popsicle. Turns out it wasn’t just a pretty preschool experiment— the blend turned out to be both delicious and functional, gently supporting digestion and calming the nervous system in one sip.
